The Power of a Button

When you were a kid and your mother told you not to touch the stove, didn't you want to touch it? Just to see what would happen? Well, someone did the same thing with a big red Flash button under which are the words "DO NOT PRESS". Yeah, right. What an impossible task. Check it out for yourself. Photoshop Made...Funny?

*image credit: Matthew Gilson for TIME

Are you one of those people that can't seem to sit through an online Photoshop tutorial without falling asleep? Well, you're in luck. Last week, TIME revealed the funny guys behind the off-beat site called "You Suck at Photoshop". Matt Bledsoe and Troy Hitch, two regular 30-something Photoshop geeks from Kentucky, put a hilarious spin on what could be a snooze of an educational tutorial.

Be forewarned
: The language in some of these tutorials may be offensive. Some of the more mild language includes quotes like "You suck at Photoshop...and, um, when are you gonna get better? Let's just...just strap on your stupid and get at it" (video link). The tutorials have a Will Ferrell/Napoleon Dynamite comic spin to them so if you're a fan of this type of comedy, and you want to laugh while you learn Photoshop, check it out.

SugarSync

About a month ago, Sharpcast launched a new synchronization technology called SugarSync. With its catchy name, SugarSync is the latest solution for those people with multiple computers (e.g., desktop, laptop, Dell, Mac) who want to sync all of their files across different platforms. According to a review in MacWorld, the appeal of SugarSync is that it has five unique components, including a special feature for iPhone and iPod users.

SugarSync offers a free trial for 45 days; after that, you can pick one of five subscription plans with prices that range from $25 (for 10GB storage) to $250 (for 250GB storage) per year.
